The IGES PLUS
software package is a third-party program written by a company that we have worked closely
with. IGES PLUS works great for performing IGES translations and high-resolution solid
model rendering. It is a slick package that can convert almost any form of one file
type to another. With its ability to turn IGES and DXF files into solids, it allows us to
create and import complex parts into tool paths. We then can use AS3000's Solid Cut
feature (available in AS3000 Level 20 and higher) to cut the
part in one step without having to deal with hundreds of surfaces. $895 |
